My voice shook, my knees were quaking, and I nearly lost it partway in after the 1 hour delayed start, the 3 hour wait for our bill to be heard, and all of it happening under florescent lighting with intermittent bells and alarms going off but I made it through, I stayed true to my story and my values, and I stood before a panel that included one person who walked out partway through and another who scrolled through their phone throughout and I said what needed to be said. I can only hope that at least one person who needed to hear it was listening. Whatever the case, I won't stop speaking.

May 07, 2025
Nevertheless, Persisting: Life. Love. Long COVID.
A show inspired by a moment in time, about the moments we persist through over time.
Dr. Amy Blackstone and her husband Lance are two sick and tired childfree Gen Xers who lament the idiocracy that surrounds them, propose solutions they expect will go ignored, and take a moment to check in and take stock.
